Special event in Parabiago: "Asian Art and Bonsai"

Magnificent bonsai, selected exclusively for this special event, will be auctioned together with more than 300 works from the East.
Crespi Bonsai, in collaboration with the prestigious Bertolami FineArt Auction House, presents a new autumn event dedicated to bonsai and Asian art.
Bonsai together with porcelain, jade, ivory, lacquer, but also paintings, armor and swords will be the protagonists of this event, which will see the Crespi Bonsai headquarters in Parabiago transformed into a real art gallery, including a bonsai of Japanese taxus cuspidata, from the famous Urabe nursery in Osaka, estimate € 12,000-15,000, a Scholar rock "Meng" - estimate € 3,000-4,000, a rare Chinese cup in porcelain and gilt silver - estimate € 200,000-300,000, a Japanese armor - estimate € 12,000-15,000 and a Japanese screen attributed to Takahashi Sōhei - estimate € 3,000-4,000.
From 14 to 17 October it will be possible to view the lots live, which will then be auctioned on Sunday 18 October from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 17.00.

On Saturday 17 October at 11.00, Francesco Morena, internationally recognized specialist in Far Eastern art, will curate a conference entitled “Bonsai, between history and cultures”, which can only be accessed by reservation.
