In Japan, displaying bonsai is a true art form. Japanese tradition dictates that bonsai should be displayed accompanied by a tatami mat, a wooden table, and a watercolor painting on rice paper, called kakejiku. If you want to try your hand at displaying your bonsai, we recommend starting with the choice of table -shoku or taku - on which to place the plant. To choose the right table for your bonsai, consider the shape, style, and size of your plant.
