Tokoname

Most high-quality bonsai pots come from Japan, particularly from the Tokoname region, which has been famous for pottery production since ancient times. Japanese pots are still handmade, created using a single mold and colored with metals and wood ash. It is often thought that Tokoname pots are made from a single type of clay, but the truth is that each master potter creates a mixture from a selection of different clays sourced from various producers on the Chita Peninsula. Our e-commerce site offers only a selection of Tokoname pots; our range is very extensive.
