Wires

Applying wire to bonsai is the most commonly used method for determining the direction of growth of the trunk and branches. The wrapping technique takes a long time, so the wire will remain wrapped around the plant for several months. Metal wires are generally made of copper or aluminum, dark and opaque, and the thickness to choose is equal to 1/3 of the thickness of the branch to be wrapped, so it is best to have wires of different diameters available.
