BONSAI SUISEKI POTS The 15th International Bonsai & Suiseki Meeting – Crespi Cup 2025 awaits you in Parabiago (Milan) from September 12th to 14th, in the splendid Crespi Bonsai spaces. Over the years, this event has grown, presenting increasingly exceptional and high-quality bonsai, suiseki, and pots, making it one of the most renowned and prestigious bonsai and suiseki events in the world.

6:30 PM Opening ceremony: Official inauguration of the 15th International Bonsai & Suiseki Gathering - Crespi Cup 2025, open to the public

7:30 PM Special greeting: “The history of bonsai through the five generations of the Kato family,” by master Takahiro Kato

11.00am-12.30pm Tea Ceremony: “The emotion in a cup of tea”, led by master Yoko Takada

H 11.00-12.30 Talk: “Bonki: shapes and peculiarities of bonsai pots”, by Takahiro Kato

H 14.30-18.30 University of Bonsai Space, demonstration: “How to create a landscape on rock”, by master Nobuyuki Kajiwara; followed by an educational workshop with students from the Bonsai University.

3:00-5:00 PM Talk/demonstration: “The origins of kazari: shitsurai | Honing your aesthetic sense: shinbigan”, by master Takahiro Kato.

11.15 Guided tour of the exhibition: “How to observe an exhibited bonsai”, accompanied by master Masayuki Fujikawa.

11.30-13.30 Lesson on suiseki: “Shinshou sekai: deepening your inner world through suiseki”, by master Takahiro Kato. At the end of the lesson, evaluation of your stones, by master Kato

2.30pm-5.00pm Bonsai technique demonstration: “Extrapolating the ‘true nature’ of a bonsai”, by master Masayuki Fujikawa and Takako Fujikawa

2.30pm-6.30pm Bonsai University Space, free lesson: “Transplanting: study of the harmony between tree and vase”, by master Nobuyuki Kajiwara; followed by an educational workshop with students from the Bonsai University.

3.00-5.30 pm Tea Ceremony: “The emotion in a cup of tea”, by master Yoko Takada.

6.00 pm Award ceremony of the “Amatori a Confronto 2025” exhibition-competition and closing ceremony

During the event, access to the Crespi Bonsai gardens and nursery will also be available.
