Premna japonica - 39 cm
Bonsai of Premna japonica characterised by its height without pot of 29 cm, trunk size of 4.5 cm and nebari of 10 cm. The plant is grown in an unglazed stoneware cloud pot whose dimensions are 32x27.5xH10 cm.
The Premna japonica Bonsai, a deciduous species prized for its fine, compact foliage, is able to offer a neat and elegant appearance throughout the growing season. In spring and summer the leaves are bright green, while in autumn they take on warmer tones before dropping, giving a glimpse of the plant's bare structure and distinctive style in winter. It presents a rock-mounted style (Seki-joju), in which the roots wrap around and cling tightly to the stone, creating an evocative and dynamic composition reminiscent of the most impervious natural environments. The roots, clearly and harmoniously distributed, descend towards the substrate, integrating with the trunk and contributing to a strong scenic presence. It is grown in an unglazed stoneware cloud vase with soft lines that harmonise with the composition and enhance its overall balance, creating a refined and evocative whole.
