Bonsai of Fraxinus (ash), deciduous, prized for its elegant habit, light vegetation and natural branching harmony. In spring the vegetation awakens with new light green, compound, pinnate leaves characterised by small oval leaflets. During the summer the foliage becomes more intense and compact, and with the arrival of autumn it takes on delicate golden yellow tones, before the complete fall of the leaves in the winter period, when the trunk and branch structure become the protagonists of the composition. In mature bonsai trees small, inconspicuous flowers may appear in spring, followed by the typical samare, the characteristic winged fruits that ripen between summer and autumn. The slightly inclined trunk creates movement and depth, while the well-distributed branching gives balance and harmony to the composition. Cultivated in a rectangular blue glazed stoneware pot, creates a refined contrast with the color of the foliage, elegantly enhancing the composition.
