Ginkgo biloba – 45 cm
A Ginkgo biloba bonsai measuring 38 cm in height (excluding the pot) with a trunk diameter of 2.5 cm. The plant is grown in a rectangular glazed stoneware pot measuring 19 x 13.5 x H7 cm.
Bonsai are living organisms and each one is different from the others, so the plant you receive will be similar to, but not identical to, the one shown in the photograph. The height may vary as the plant grows.
The size, colour and shape of the pot may vary depending on availability.
A Ginkgo biloba bonsai, a very ancient deciduous species, known for its fan-shaped leaves and intense yellow autumn colouring. The foliage, initially green, turns an orange-yellow in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. It features a trunk characterised by a charming, fissured bark. Cultivated in a rectangular, cream-glazed stoneware pot, this complements the bonsai, enhancing the plant’s beauty whilst lending it balance and refinement.
Grow bonsai outdoors all year round, taking care to place it in a sheltered spot during the colder months and in partial shade during the warmer months.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.

Apply fertilizer from spring to fall, avoiding the hottest months of July/August. Use an organic, liquid, or solid fertilizer.

Until the bonsai is 10 years old, repot it every year. Once it has reached its final form, repot it every 3 years. The best time to do this is in spring, using a mixture of 70% akadama, 20% sand, and 10% ready-made soil.
