Euonymus sieboldianus (spindle tree) bonsai, an ornamental, deciduous, fruit-bearing species. It is prized for its spring flowering, with small, four-petalled white-green flowers, and the subsequent fruiting, producing reddish capsule-like fruits which split open as they ripen, revealing red-orange seeds. The foliage, initially green, takes on splendid red-orange hues in autumn and is shed in winter, often leaving the fruits visible on the branches. The fine, dense branching creates a harmonious and well-balanced silhouette. Grown in a rectangular, green-glazed stoneware pot, it enhances the structure of the bonsai, bringing out its character and blending perfectly with the overall aesthetic.
