The world of Bonsai Artist Kunio Kobayashi - Kunio Kobayashi

A collector's volume bound in hard cover and signed by Kunio Kobayashi on the occasion of the Crespi Cup 2023 (13 September 2023). A color photographic book dedicated to bonsai and Japanese art objects related to the presentation of bonsai (Keido), and a part dedicated to all the people who accompanied him in his 50-year career.

The book includes photos of historic Suiseki and Bonseki, bonsai masterpieces from the Shunkaen Bonsai Museum, and some trees that are on their way to becoming a masterpiece. Kobayashi displays many exceptional specimens from his personal collection of Suiseki, suiban and presentation tables, support figures (Tenpai/Tenkei) in wood, ceramic, silver and bronze, some of which are very ancient which make the collection impressively beautiful.
