DESCRIPTION

A Pinus thunbergii ‘Kotobuki’ (black pine) bonsai, a robust evergreen conifer much prized in the art of bonsai for its rough bark and vigorous needles. The foliage is dense and consists of long, slender, dark green double needles. It features a trunk with mature, rough bark, which cracks as it ages, becoming increasingly interesting. Grown in a rectangular, blue-glazed stoneware pot, it highlights the contrast with the intense green of the bonsai’s needles.
