Osteomeles bonsai, an elegant evergreen essence prized in the bonsai world for its fine vegetation, compact branching and small, bright green oval leaves. In spring it gives a delicate, light and refined white flowering, followed by small decorative berries that further enhance its ornamental charm. Note in this specimen the interesting movement at the base of the trunk and the definition of the stakes. The bonsai is grown in a round blue enamelled pot whose intense hue harmonises with the bright green colour of the foliage.
