Thuja informal erect
The Thuja, a member of the Cupressaceae family, is native to Alaska, North America, Europe and central-eastern Asia and can exceed 8 metres in height in the wild. It is an evergreen plant, usually formed by a dense network of main branches, on which the small branches have a flattened shape and are covered by the densely distributed, small, scaly leaves. A monoecious species, it bears male and female flowers in different positions on the same individual.
Its beauty lies above all in the harmonious shape of its compact, vibrantly green foliage, but also in the unmistakable scent of its bark, aromatic and intense.
