Commonly known as Oriental jasmine, Trachelospermum asiaticum is native to Korea and Japan. It is a shrub characterised by small, narrow, oval, dark green leaves, which turn a beautiful shade of red in autumn, and by rather fragrant, creamy-white flowers that bloom with the arrival of summer. To shape it, regular pruning and pinching are required during the growing season.
