DESCRIPTION

This bonsai of Pseudocydonia chinensis (Quince), belonging to the deciduous fruiting variety, is characterised by leathery leaves and elongated apple-shaped fruit, the colour of which changes from green to golden yellow when ripe. The spring flowers are pinkish white, with a delicate, fragrant appearance. The deep green foliage turns orange-yellow in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. The rectangular bright blue glazed stoneware pot emphasizes the colors of this plant. Grown in an exposed root style (Neagari) that highlights the visibly intertwined and firmly rooted roots and their sinuous movement.
