Set solis Pomice & Lapillo & Bambù

PUMICE:

Pumice stone of medium-large grain size, free of nutrients. It is used as a drainage layer in place of coarse akadama. Included as a component of the potting soil mixture, it promotes root emergence. It has good water retention: by placing a layer of pumice, which should be kept constantly moist, in bonsai pots, it can provide the moisture needed for plant health.

JAPANESE RED LAPILLI: 

The high content of trace elements, combined with the porosity and inconsistency of pyroclastic materials, make lapilli granules irreplaceable in the preparation of loose potting soils, with good water retention and, at the same time, excellent draining power.

FINE BAMBOO COAL:

Similar to charcoal, bamboo charcoal is microporous and has excellent absorbent properties. It is obtained through the pyrolytic method, a special combustion process in the absence of oxygen. It is capable of neutralizing bonsai soil and developing mycorrhiza, a beneficial fungus that can absorb nutrients and distribute them to the roots. It also prevents acidification of bonsai soil.
