This plant originally from China, also called "Tea Plant" by Fukien, has evergreen oval leaves and, particularly in summer, is covered with very elegant and fragrant white flowers, which will transform into first green and then red berries . The ripe berries remain on the plant until after Christmas and are very decorative. It is precisely the continuous mutation of its appearance during the different seasons that makes this plant particularly suggestive. The tea plant exists in two varieties: Carmona microphylla which has dense, minute foliage and Carmona macrophylla with slightly larger leaves.

SAUCER

Especially for indoor bonsai, saucers are essential: filled with gravel and a little water, they ensure the humidity necessary to keep the plant healthy.
