Podocarpus macrophylla - Podocarp - 73 cm
Podocarpus bonsai characterised by a height without pot of 62,5 cm, and trunk size of 4 cm and nebari of 13 cm. The plant is grown in a rectangular glazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are 31,5x25xH10,5 cm.
This bonsai of Podocarpus macrophylla (Podocarpus) is an evergreen indoor conifer, prized for its hardiness. If cultivated well, it flowers in late spring with small reproductive cones, after which it produces fleshy green fruits that ripen to red-purple/dark purple. It has a structure with a slightly inclined and curved trunk with a soft, natural line that gives it dynamism and elengant movement. The well-structured foliage with deep green, lance-shaped leaves creates volume and gives depth and harmony. Cultivated in a rectangular blue glazed stoneware pot, it creates an elegant contrast to the colour of the leaves and enhances the structure by emphasising its elegance and refinement.
From fall to spring, place the bonsai indoors less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains, ensuring a temperature between 10°C and 21°C. From spring to fall, place it outdoors in partial shade.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water it thoroughly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
