Podocarp bonsai characterized by a height without pot of 58 cm, a trunk size of 2,5 cm and nebari of 6 cm. The plant is grown in a rectangular glazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are 27x20xH9 cm.
This bonsai of Podocarpus macrophylla (Podocarp) is an evergreen indoor conifer, prized for its resistance. If cultivated well, it flowers in late spring with small reproductive cones, after which it produces fleshy green fruits that ripen in red-purple/dark purple shades. It has a tiered style, with an upright trunk and foliage distributed over several levels, creating a harmonious and natural effect. Cultivated in a rectangular blue glazed stoneware pot, it helps to emphasize the aesthetics of the bonsai, maintaining a delicate contrast with the intense green of the leaves.
From fall to spring, place the bonsai indoors less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains, ensuring a temperature between 10°C and 21°C. From spring to fall, place it outdoors in partial shade.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water it thoroughly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
