The size, colour and shape of the pot may vary depending on availability.
This Zelkova nire bonsai, an evergreen indoor plant, is prized for its hardiness, adaptability and vigorous growth. It is characterised by small, serrated leaves of a deep green colour, which form a compact and harmonious canopy, showcasing every detail of its structure. It features an inverted broom style (Hokidachi), in which the well-developed and proportionate trunk supports an orderly branching pattern. Cultivated in a rectangular blue glazed stoneware pot, it creates a striking visual effect whilst maintaining a delicate contrast with the deep green of the leaves.
From fall to spring, place the bonsai indoors less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains. From spring to fall, you can also place it outdoors in partial shade.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water it thoroughly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
