If you are looking for a pot for a conifer bonsai, opt for unglazed stoneware pots. Choose glazed pots for deciduous bonsai with flowers and fruits. The choice of color also depends on the color of the tree, particularly in the season when it looks its best or when you like it most. Your favorite color may not necessarily be the most suitable for the bonsai you plan to repot. We suggest referring to the colors of the solar spectrum: if the plant has red flowers, you can choose a green pot (complementary to red), while if it has orange flowers, the pot could be blue. These are not absolute rules; the important thing is to prioritize harmony, balance, and good taste.
