Beginners bonsai class Milan – over 4 evenings – Tuesday 6–13, Wednesday 7–14 April 2027

The University of Bonsai also offers short courses, lasting 9 hours, providing an introduction to the art of bonsai. The programme covers the basic techniques of bonsai, such as pruning, wiring, repotting and shaping, as well as an introduction to plant physiology and plant pathology. These techniques are practised during the course under the supervision of the tutor on plants provided directly by the school, which will remain the property of the student.

Students are responsible for providing their own specialist tools; should they not have any, they may request them from the University and benefit from a special 10 per cent discount.
