Three-year courses – University of Bonsai

For over 35 years,the University of Bonsai has been the undisputed benchmark for enthusiasts of this Eastern art form across Europe.
The careful selection of teaching staff, the distinctive teaching approach and the optimisation of learning time, combined with the highly professional expertise of two great Japanese masters – Nobuyuki Kajiwara and Naoki Maekoa (who, from this year, will be leading the Level 1 course) – make the University of Bonsai a unique institution within the bonsai educational landscape.
The comprehensive three-year course covers all the technical and aesthetic aspects of the art of bonsai, including botany and plant pathology.
Enrolment for Level 1 is open until 19 December 2026, unless places are filled earlier.
