From Friday, March 6th to Sunday, March 8th, the world of shohin will once again take center stage at the Crespi Bonsai spaces in Parabiago (MI) for the 9th EDITION OF THE BONSAI SHOHIN FESTIVAL, where collectors and enthusiasts from all over Italy and beyond will exhibit their small masterpieces. Japanese master Hiroki Miura will personally oversee the exhibition setup and will hold classes and workshops dedicated to training and maintenance techniques suitable for shohin, trees whose height does not exceed 25 cm. Don't miss the guided tours of the shohin bonsai exhibition scheduled for Saturday, March 7th and Sunday, March 8th, and the technical demonstration dedicated to creating a masterpiece to be presented at the Japanese Gafu-ten exhibition, all activities led by Master Miura.
MASTER HIROKI MIURA
A renowned shohin bonsai expert, Hiroki Miura inherited the family nursery, Miura Baiju-en, a few years ago. He regularly teaches shohin bonsai classes, mentoring approximately 120 students each year, many of whom are amateurs and professionals who have received awards at the Taikan-ten and Gafu-ten exhibitions, and have passed the selection process to participate in the prestigious Japanese national Kokufu-ten exhibition. He is currently a recognized teacher of the Japanese Bonsai Shohin Association of which he is also president and teacher at the NHK culture center. He writes for the Japanese magazine Kinbon Bonsai with the aim of promoting and encouraging the cultivation of shohin bonsai.

Admission to the exhibition and access to the educational workshops, meetings, demonstrations, and guided tours led by master bonsai artist Hiroki Miura are free. During the event, access to the Crespi Bonsai nursery and gardens will be open.
