Acer Palmatum Viridis - Maple - 70 cm
A unique specimen of Maple tree characterised by a height without pot of 64 cm, a trunk size of approx. 1-5 cm and a nebari of 38 cm. The plant is grown in an oval green glazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are 55x40xH6 cm.
This bonsai specimen of Acer palmatum viridis (maple) is a deciduous species, known for its palmate leaves whose colours change with the seasons. The bright green foliage turns orange-yellow to deep red in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. It is cultivated in raft style (Ikadabuki), which is particularly striking because it is reminiscent of those trees that in nature, after breaking and lying on the ground, begin to grow their branches upwards from a common horizontal base. The branches gradually become trunks and the effect is that of a real forest starting from the same large nebari. The oval green glazed stoneware vase contrasts elegantly with the red-orange hues of the autumn foliage, enhancing its beauty and combining with the green leaves for a harmonious tone-on-tone in the spring-summer months.
