DESCRIPTION

This shohin Euonymus alatus (evonymus) bonsai is an ornamental deciduous fruiting species. It is prized for its spring flowering, small 4-petalled white-green flowers, and subsequent fruiting with reddish capsule fruits that open as they ripen, revealing red-orange seeds. In autumn, the foliage takes on beautiful red-orange hues and sheds in winter, often leaving the fruits visible on the branches. The oval blue glazed stoneware pot enhances the harmonious structure of the tree. Cultivated in the slanted style (Shakan), it gives movement and naturalness.
