DESCRIPTION

This bonsai of Zelkova serrata (elm) is a deciduous outdoor species prized for its dense foliage and serrated leaves. The deep green foliage takes on warm reddish tones in autumn and then sheds its leaves during winter, highlighting the charm of the trunk and finely branched branches. Cultivated in a round blue glazed stoneware pot, it enhances the robust and well-proportioned trunk, giving balance to the harmonious shape and compact branching.
