DESCRIPTION

This bonsai of Carpinus turczaninovii (hornbeam) belonging to the deciduous variety is prized for its pale bark and bright green serrated leaves. The foliage turns golden yellow to brownish orange in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter, giving it a very decorative appearance. It has a structure that develops with a gentle curve along the trunk in a harmonious and natural way, the well-spaced branches branch out in a balanced manner, creating a structure that gives balance and depth to the whole. The rectangular unglazed stoneware pot enhances the light color of the trunk and creates contrast with the bright green of the leaves in spring and summer or with the yellow-orange typical of the autumn period.
