DESCRIPTION

This bonsai of Fagus crenata (Japanese beech) is a deciduous species with lanceolate leaves. The bright green foliage turns orange-yellow to brown in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. The slender, slightly sloping shape gives the tree a dynamic and refined appearance. Grown in a square unglazed stoneware pot enhances the rusticity of the trunk and creates a balanced contrast that highlights the foliage.
