DESCRIPTION

The Ulmus Parviflora (elm) bonsai tree is a deciduous species highly valued in bonsaism for its hardiness, harmonious growth and dense branching. The compact and well-balanced foliage composed of small toothed leaves gives the bonsai tree a mature and rich character. The foliage turns orange-yellow in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. This specimen has a very robust and old-looking trunk with a sinuous and elegant development. The bonsai is grown in an oval pot made of yellow glazed stoneware and is perfect for enhancing the bright colours of the leaves and the dark colour of the trunk.
