DESCRIPTION

The Ulmus Parviflora (elm) bonsai tree is a deciduous species highly valued in bonsaism for its hardiness, harmonious growth and dense branching. The compact and well-balanced foliage composed of small toothed leaves gives the bonsai tree a mature and rich character. The foliage turns orange-yellow in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. This specimen has a very robust, old-looking trunk with a sinuous and elegant development. The bonsai is grown in a rectangular blue-glazed stoneware pot and is perfect for enhancing the bright colours of the leaves and the dark colour of the trunk.
