Acer palmatum yukihire - Maple - 44 cm
Maple bonsai characterized by a height without pot of 37 cm and a trunk size of 2 cm. The plant is grown in an oval glazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are 23x17,5xH7 cm.
This bonsai of Acer palmatum yukihire (Japanese maple) is a deciduous species that is highly valued for its slender, tapered foliage. They are bright green during the warm season, while in autumn they take on splendid tones of red, yellow and orange, creating an extraordinary visual spectacle, and then shed their leaves in winter. The sinuous, harmonious trunk develops with elegant movements, giving the plant dynamism and naturalness. Cultivated in an oval blue glazed stoneware pot, which creates a refined colour contrast with the foliage tones and contributes to the overall elegance of the bonsai.
Protect the foliage from the intense summer sun, while exposing it to the sun in autumn to intensify the color of the leaves. In winter, it is best to protect the root system from frost, especially when grown in very shallow pots or with exposed roots.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
