DESCRIPTION

Bonsai are living beings and each one is different from the others, so the plant you'll receive will be similar but not the same as the one you see in the photo. The height may vary with the vegetative growth of the plant.
The bonsai of Pinus Pentaphylla (five-needle pine) is a conifer, highly valued in the bonsai art for its elegant bearing and durability. It has needles grouped in clumps of five, blue-green in colour. As the bark of this species grows older, it becomes more interesting. The bonsai grown in a square unglazed stoneware pot enhances the rusticity of the trunk and contrasts with the bright green of the needles.

Watering

Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.

Repotting

Repot young specimens about every 3 years, and more mature ones every 5-7 years. The best time to do this is between the end of winter and the beginning of spring, when the buds are swollen but the needles have not yet opened.
