Bonsai of Caragana, deciduous and flowering, is prized for its robustness and delicate yellow flowers. The foliage consists of small oval leaves that are bright green in spring and summer. In autumn the foliage turns orange-yellow and sheds its leaves in winter. It has a very strong trunk with exposed roots, emphasising the strength and maturity of the plant. It has an exposed root style (neagari), a technique that emphasizes the roots, which extend out of the substrate in a natural and harmonious way, creating a sculptural and dynamic effect. Cultivated in a yellow round glazed stoneware pot, it enhances the plant's flowers, accentuates the brightness of the leaves and creates an elegant contrast with the structure of the trunk.
