Premna japonica - 32 cm
Bonsai of Premna japonica characterised by a height without pot of 27 cm, trunk size of 3 cm and nebari of 11 cm. The plant is grown in a round unglazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are Ø15xH5 cm.
The Premna japonica Bonsai, a deciduous species prized for its fine, compact foliage, is able to offer a neat and elegant appearance throughout the growing season. In spring and summer the leaves are bright green, while in autumn they take on warmer tones before dropping, giving a glimpse of the plant's bare structure and distinctive stylistic layout in winter. The spring produces small creamy-white or green-white flowers in inflorescences. After flowering, small round berries may form, maturing from green to darker shades (purplish or black). It has an exposed root style (Neagari), in which the roots emerge from the ground merging with the sinuous movement of the trunk and creating a dynamic and natural composition. Cultivated in a round unglazed stoneware pot, it enhances the structure of the bonsai by emphasising its character and harmonising perfectly with the overall aesthetics.
