Bonsai of Syringa Vulgaris (Lilac), a deciduous flowering species, known for its fragrant and scenic flowering. In spring it produces abundant panicle-like inflorescences consisting of small tubular four-lobed flowers. The flowers come in delicate shades ranging from lilac to purplish-pink, sometimes with lighter hues, and spread an intense, characteristic scent. After flowering, small, inconspicuous capsule-like fruits of little ornamental interest may develop. The leaves are simple, opposite and heart-shaped, with entire margins. During the vegetative season they are medium bright green, in autumn they tend to turn to yellow-green tones, before the winter fall, which allows a glimpse of the elegant structure of the branches. Grown in a square dark beige glazed stoneware pot, it adds a touch of elegance to the bonsai.
