DESCRIPTION

A bonsai specimen of Aglaia, a refined tropical evergreen prized for its compact crown, glossy foliage and fragrant flowers. Its small oval leaves retain an intense green colour throughout the year, with new growth appearing lighter in colour in spring. Between late spring and early autumn, it produces numerous small, golden-yellow flowers in clusters, characterised by a delicate and pleasant fragrance. Under favourable conditions, it may also develop small, round ornamental fruits, which are initially green but turn yellowish or reddish as they ripen. It has a sturdy, well-proportioned trunk that supports a broad, compact crown. It is grown in a rectangular brown plastic pot, which enhances the contrast with the bright green foliage and lends stability and elegance to the entire arrangement.

Watering

Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
