Crataegus cuneata - Japanese hawthorn - 62 cm
Hawthorn bonsai characterized by a height without pot of 52 cm, trunk size of 4 cm and nebari of 8 cm. The plant is grown in a rectangular glazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are 30x23,5xH10 cm.
Bonsai of Crataegus cuneata (Japanese hawthorn), deciduous fruiting variety, prized for its white spring flowering and the autumn production of very decorative red fruits, which give the tree character. The foliage turns orange-yellow and red in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter, enhancing the structure and fine branching. The rectangular cream glazed stoneware pot makes the bonsai's bearing and the autumn colouring of the fruit elegant and harmonious.
Grow bonsai outdoors all year round, taking care to place it in a sheltered spot during the colder months and in partial shade during the warmer months.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
