DESCRIPTION

Pseudocydonia chinensis (Chinese quince) bonsai, a deciduous fruit-bearing species characterised by leathery leaves and elongated apple-shaped fruits, which change colour from green to golden yellow when ripe. The spring flowers are a pinkish-white colour, with a delicate and fragrant appearance. The deep green foliage turns orange-yellow in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. Grown in a round, blue-glazed stoneware pot, it enhances the contrast between the colours of the foliage and the light-coloured trunks, lending balance to the overall composition.
