In this model the Plover bird is represented as a symbol of prosperity. This design features plovers flying amidst the Japanese wave pattern. It portrays marital happiness and family security because the waves are used as a metaphor for society. The word "plovers" in Japanese sounds the same as the word "to catch a thousand." For this reason, in particular, it is called "taking a thousand blessings" and is a symbol of victory and encouragement. This Furoshiki is carefully and perfectly designed so that the plover appears just in the right place when wrapped, and once opened shows off the large plover featured in the furoshiki.

This is made with smooth cotton sheets.

Hare Tsutsumi

The representative colors are red and white or gold and silver to wish prosperity in Japan. It was symbolically designed as a wrapping cloth to celebrate Hare no hi. Color and composition are additional features of this series. The charm of this Furoshiki lies in its beauty when it is spread out or used as a wrap.

"Hare tsutsumi" is inspired by the "Katami gawari" or "Ichimatsu" or "plaum" patterns. They often have bold designs. The contrast between red and white, or the alternation of dark blue and white, is modern and elegant. You can use Hare no hi to celebrate important life events and to give seasonal gifts.
