This bonsai of Carmona macrophylla (tea plant), belonging to the evergreen indoor variety, is prized for producing small white star-shaped flowers in spring and summer. Its foliage, with shiny, compact leaves, is well structured and gives it a refined appearance. It has a harmonious shape, with an S-shaped trunk that develops in a sinuous and slender manner. Cultivated in an oval dark blue glazed stoneware pot, it helps to emphasize the aesthetics of the bonsai, maintaining a delicate contrast with the intense green of the leaves.
From fall to spring, when the temperature drops below 13°-15°C, place the bonsai indoors less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains. From spring to fall, place it outdoors in partial shade.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
