This bonsai of Crassula portulacaria, belonging to evergreen indoor variety, is a succulent plant with compact growth and hardy character. The bright green foliage is made up of fleshy leaves. The double trunk style (Sokan), in which two trunks develop from a common base with visible nebari and exposed roots, enhances the plant, giving it a sense of dynamism and beauty. Grown in a rectangular blue glazed stoneware pot, it completes the elegant appearance of the bonsai, creating a pleasant contrast with the green of the leaves and emphasizing the double trunk.
From fall to spring, place the bonsai indoor less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains. From spring to fall, place it outdoors in partial shade, where the temperature should never fall below 10°C.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
