DESCRIPTION
The bonsai of Ilex crenata (holly) belonging to the evergreen indoor variety, has a neat and compact habit that makes it ideal for bonsai cultivation. It has small, bright, dark green oval leaves, white flowering in late spring and black autumn berries. Shaped in a tiered style, with foliage distributed on several levels, it gives a balanced appearance enhancing the compact branching and shape of the bonsai. Cultivated in an hexagonal unglazed stoneware pot, it emphasizes the color of the leaves, matching the refined and majestic appearance of the bonsai.
