Zelkova nire - Elm - 28 cm
Zelkova nire bonsai characterised by a height without pot of 22 cm and a trunk size of 2.5 cm. The plant is grown in a rectangular glazed stoneware pot whose dimensions are 15.5x10xH6 cm.
Bonsai are living beings and each one is different from the others, so the plant you'll receive will be similar but not the same as the one you see in the photo. The height may vary with the vegetative growth of the plant.
The Zelkova nire bonsai is prized for its hardiness, adaptability and vegetative vigour. It is distinguished by its small, deep green, serrated leaves, which form a compact and harmonious foliage that enhances every detail of the structure. This specimen grown in the upside-down broom style (Hokidachi) has a well-developed and well-proportioned trunk, which supports an orderly branching. The thickness of the trunk conveys a sense of age despite the bonsai's small size. It is grown in a rectangular blue-glazed stoneware pot that creates an elegant colour contrast to the bright green foliage.
From fall to spring, place the bonsai indoors less than 1 meter from a window, unshielded by curtains. From spring to fall, you can also place it outdoors in partial shade.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water it thoroughly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
