Rhododendron indicum 'Kirishima' – Azalea – 145 cm

A Japanese garden plant (Niwaki) of the species Rhododendron indicum ‘Fujikake’ (azalea), an evergreen flowering plant, is distinguished by its distinctive, colourful flowers. It is prized for its spring flowering, characterised by red blooms that create an elegant and vibrant contrast with the green of the leaves. The leaves are small, oval and elongated, and bright green during the growing season. As an evergreen, it retains its foliage all year round; during the colder months, the foliage may take on darker shades, whilst still retaining its decorative appearance. It features a multi-trunked (Kabudachi) style, in which all the trunks grow from the same base with a single root system, effectively making it a single tree. Grown in a round black plastic pot.
