DESCRIPTION

Unique specimen bonsai of Pinus thunbergii (black pine) is a robust evergreen conifer that is highly valued in the bonsai art for its wrinkled bark and vigorous needles. The foliage is dense and consists of double, long, thin, bright green needles. It has a strong trunk with mature, wrinkled bark, which cracks as it ages, becoming increasingly interesting. It has an informal upright style with a tiered structure and foliage distributed over several levels, creating a harmonious and natural effect. Cultivated in rectangular unglazed stoneware pot enhances the colour contrast and enhances the natural aesthetics.
