A Pinus thunbergii ‘Senjomaru’ bonsai, an evergreen conifer much prized in the art of bonsai for its elegant and vigorous form. It features sturdy needles arranged in pairs, of a deep green colour, which keep the plant compact and harmonious throughout the year. Over time, the bark thickens, taking on deep, dark hues and developing a rough texture that enhances the tree’s mature and distinctive character. Grown in an oval, green-glazed stoneware pot, it highlights the contrast with the deep green of the bonsai’s needles.
