DESCRIPTION

Bonsai are living organisms and each one is different from the others, so the plant you receive will be similar to, but not identical to, the one shown in the photograph. The height may vary as the plant grows.
The size, colour and shape of the pot may vary depending on availability.

A Quercus suber (cork oak) plant for shaping, an evergreen species prized for its characteristic corky bark and its small, leathery leaves with slightly serrated or spiny margins. The deep green foliage produces new growth in spring that is a lighter, brighter green, which takes on darker, richer shades during the summer. In autumn and winter, the foliage remains on the plant, retaining its elegant and compact appearance – a characteristic that allows the bonsai to maintain a high aesthetic value in every season. It has a trunk with smooth, greyish bark, which will gain value over the years as the bark gradually transforms into a thick layer of cracked cork. It is a plant currently undergoing growth and shaping. Cultivated in a square black plastic pot.

SPECIES : Quercus

Watering

Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
