DESCRIPTION

This Euonymus (evonymus) bonsai is an ornamental deciduous fruiting species. It is prized for its spring flowering, small 4-petalled white-green flowers, and subsequent fruiting with reddish capsule fruits that open as they ripen, revealing red-orange seeds. In autumn, the foliage takes on beautiful red-orange hues and sheds in winter, often leaving the fruits visible on the branches. The oval blue glazed stoneware pot enhances the harmonious structure of the tree. Cultivated in the forest style (Yose-ue), it gives movement and naturalness.

Repotting

Bonsai trees tend to produce abundant fine roots, quickly saturating the space in the pot. Repot frequently, about once every two years, in late spring, when the weather starts to warm up, to avoid late frosts.
