Acer palmatum deshojo - Maple - 41 cm
Maple bonsai characterized by a height without pot of 36 cm, trunk size of about 1-1,5 cm and nebari of 6 cm. The plant is grown in an oval glazed stoneware pot measuring 27x18xH5 cm.
This bonsai of Acer palmatum deshojo (maple) is a deciduous species, known for its palmate leaves with vibrant seasonal tones. The bright green foliage turns orange-yellow to deep red in autumn and sheds its leaves in winter. Cultivated in stump style (Kabudachi), it has multiple trunks growing from a single nebari, creating a natural and harmonious effect. The oval blue glazed stoneware pot contrasts elegantly with the shades of the foliage enhancing its beauty.
Protect the foliage from the intense summer sun, while exposing it to the sun in autumn to intensify the color of the leaves. In winter, it is best to protect the root system from frost, especially when grown in very shallow pots or with exposed roots.
Always respect the dry and wet cycles: whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, water abundantly. Then wait for the soil to dry before watering again in the same way.
